The Baldivis Brumbies have the power to make this league really interesting this week.
Their date with the Rockingham Rams on Saturday looms as the game of the round, and if the Brumbies want to be taken seriously, they need to nab a win.
So far on the season we've got two clear-cut premiership contenders, and the Rams are one of them alongside the unbeaten Pinjarra.
So where does that leave the third-placed Baldivis?
Well, what we do already know is that they're a finals contender, and their victory over fellow top-five outfit Centrals last week helped stoke some belief into the fire.
But their losses to Pinjarra and Mandurah, which were good opportunities for the Brumbies to stamp some authority on the top five, are lingering like a bad smell.
Now to be fair they did come storming back into the Mandurah game to lose by just a goal, and wayward kicking really hurt them against Pinjarra.
Still, those results still hang over a team desperate to take a step forward.
But now, heading into round seven, the Brumbies have the perfect chance to make this season a three-horse race.
The Rams are red hot. Since their loss to Pinjarra in round five they've scored 343 points in two weeks, putting Waroona and Halls Head to the sword.
But Baldivis poses a tougher challenge, with Josh Branchi, Blaine Johnson and James Russell all in exceptional form over recent weeks.
Rockingham will head into the match at their home ground as favourites to win, but should Baldivis pull out an upset and make it back-to-back wins over top-five teams, then we'll be taking their premiership ambitions far more seriously come next week.
