Emma Klasztorny scored a couple of early baskets in the second half to try and will the side back into action, but the lead was out to 19 at the end of the third.
Mandurah conjured a spirited response with a never-say-die attitude in the fourth, restricting the Redbacks to just six points at they trimmed 13 off the margin.
But it was too little, too late as they fell to Perth 65-71.
