Mandurah Police have charged a driver with several offences after he allegedly evaded police from Lakelands to Baldivis overnight.
About 12.20am, police were conducting patrols of the area when they sighted a Holden Commodore sedan travelling along Lake Valley Drive in an erratic manner.
Police allege when the officers activated their emergency lights and sirens to stop the vehicle, the driver accelerated away.
The Holden Commodore was driven through several suburbs before the driver abandoned the vehicle on Camelot Street in Baldivis, and ran into nearby bushland.
Three vehicle passengers were taken into custody.
Police dog, 'Faustus', found the driver hiding in the bushes.
