The Mandurah Foreshore turned into a small slice of New Zealand as hundreds gathered to celebrate Waitangi Day on Saturday.
Our neighbouring country’s culture was on full display with New Zealand-based cuisine and entertainment bustling by the water’s edge.
A collection of stalls showcased wares from artwork to clothing, while locals got the chance to learn a thing or two about neighbours to the east.
The day celebrates the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi – New Zealand’s founding document – which was signed on February 6, 1840.
