Oakwood Primary School opened its doors to more than 400 new students on Monday morning.
After much anticipation by parents, students and staff, the new school welcomed students up to year 6 on February 4 as schools went back across the state.
Oakwood Primary School was previously opened for kindergarten and pre-primary students in 2018.
The $18.3 million school will see students start the year in brand new classrooms with a wide range of new facilities, including an art and craft room, activities area, music room, playing courts, covered assembly area, dental therapy room and more.
The combination of high quality facilities with excellent teaching staff will enable students to fulfill their full potential and excel during their time at Oakwood.

The school caters to students in the growing northern suburbs from San Remo to Meadow Springs and Madora Bay and has already built a strong reputation within the community after just one year.
Mandurah MP David Templeman said it was a “fantastic” school for families in the northern area of Meadow Springs.
“The combination of high quality facilities with excellent teaching staff will enable students to fulfill their full potential and excel during their time at Oakwood,” he said.
“I am very keen to see students start at Oakwood and look forward to watching the school grow and develop into the future.”
