Police have released helicopter footage of the police pursuit from Mandurah to Lakelands overnight.
A 38-year-old man was charged after evading police for 30 minutes just after midnight.
WA Police allege a stolen Suzuki sedan bearing false plates was sighted by Mandurah police, travelling in an easterly direction on Eacott Street, Mandurah.
The Suzuki failed to stop, evading police.
It will be alleged the Suzuki travelled at 150 kilometres per hour and drove on the incorrect side of the road.
The police helicopter continued surveillance of the Suzuki for approximately 30 minutes until it was abandoned in Lakelands.
The single male occupant ran from the vehicle into a house, from where he was apprehended by police.
A 38-year-old Lakelands man has since been charged with one count of reckless driving to escape police pursuit.
