Police are on the hunt for a man who they believe could help their investigations into a Lakelands stabbing.
About 4pm on Sunday, police received reports that a security guard on duty at the Lakelands shopping centre had been assaulted.

While a WA Police spokesman could not reveal the circumstances surrounding the incident, it was confirmed the man struck the security guard in the shoulder, causing a minor laceration.
The man fled the store on foot, knocking over a bin on the way out.
The man has been described as 20 to 30-years-old, with fair skin, a slim build, black hair, facial hair and a spider tattoo on his right cheek.
