Mandurah Forum shoppers were lucky to escape unscathed after two teenage boys started throwing lead fishing sinkers at them while they sat in the centre.

About 4.40pm on January 9, two local women, who wish not to be named, were enjoying a drink at Coffee Club within the Pinjarra Road shopping centre when they and nearby diners were targeted.

Allegedly aged between 10-12, the boys stood at the top of escalators at the centre to throw the items.
