Murray Youth HQ Opening
- When: Wednesday, January 9
- Where: Lovegrove street
The new youth drop-in centre run by the MyVoice Youth Reference Group opens on January 9.
From 10am-2pm, 11-17 year olds are invited to hang out together with free snacks, video games, movies and laptops, basketball, totem tennis and plenty of outdoor space to soak up some sun.

100 Club Mandurah Cup
- When: Saturday, January 12
- Where: Pinjarra Park
Kick off the year with a day at the races! Pinjarra Park’s 100 Club Sign Strategy Mandurah Cup features $100,000 in race winnings and is WA’s prime premier metropolitan meeting.
There will be plenty of free entertainment, live music, bars, food and bookmakers for an enjoyable day on the field.
Pinjarra Twilight Markets
- When: Saturday, January 12
- Where: Edenvale Homestead, Pinjarra
There will be plenty of food trucks, a coffee van and crowd-favourite market stalls at the first ever Pinjarra Twilight Markets.

Kids Roller Disco
- When: Friday, January 18
- Where: Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre
Enjoy music, games, prizes and of course roller skating/blading at this family friendly event.
No need to book, just show up. Cost is $8.50 per child. BYO roller skates/blades and protective gear. For more information, visit the City of Mandurah website.
Australia Day celebrations
- When: Saturday, January 26
- Where: Eastern foreshore
From 7-11.30am, celebrate Australia Day and Mandurah’s largest annual citizenship ceremony.
There will be a cooked Aussie breakfast until 9am from the Lions Club of Mandurah and live music by the Mandurah Concert Band.
With the official ceremony kicking off at 8.30am, over 100 new citizens will be welcomed as Australians.
The winners of the Community Citizen of the Year Awards will be announced as well as the best dressed boat title, organised by Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club (MOFSC).
There will be no fireworks and the event is an alcohol, pet and smoke-free celebration.
Top of the Terrace Summer Bash and Hottest 100 After Party
- When: Sunday, January 27
- Where: Mandurah Terrace
The City of Mandurah will again shut down Mandurah Terrace on January 27, this time for the biggest street party Mandurah has seen!
There will be a Summer Bash taking over the top of the terrace to raise money for the McGrath Foundation. Organisers are looking for 12 teams of four players each to compete in the inaugural event with prizes up for grabs for the best-dressed and winning teams.
There will also be a Kids Zone in the courtyard between Brighton and The Bridge Garden Bar for an afternoon of family fun including kids activities and bouncy castles. It will be a gold coin donation to participate with all proceeds being donated to the McGrath Foundation.
From 5pm, the party continues on with a Hottest 100 street after party with a DJ and four different pop up bars (pending license approval). For more information, visit the Facebook event page.
Mandurah Food Truck Frenzy

- Where: Hall Park
The Mandurah Food Truck Frenzy is back for 2019. There will be plenty of yummy selections to choose from including Nom Nom Cupcakes and Tanyas Tucker.

Beats Under the Bridge Summer Youth Fest
- When: Wednesday, January 30
- Where: Western foreshore
Young people in the City of Mandurah, get your mates together for an afternoon of teenage fun!
The Summer Youth Fest for teens aged 13-17 years old, will feature great music, free giveaways, food, inflatables and more. The line up is still to be announced.

Magic Millions WA Ladies Day
- When: Saturday, February 9
- Where: Pinjarra Park
Ladies Day is back at Pinjarra Park! The state’s richest provincial race day returns with WA’s finest horses, trainers and jockeys hitting the track vying for more than $400,000 in prize money.
The day will feature two main races for the top two-year-olds and the Magic Millions three-year-olds.
There will also be plenty of action off the track and on the catwalk, with fashion enthusiasts hitting the runway for Fashions on the Field.
Gordon Hendricks is Elvis
- When: Sunday, February 10
- Where: Mandurah Performing Arts Centre
Described as the “world's greatest Elvis show”, Gordon Hendricks brings his tribute show to town for his first national tour of Australia.
The award-winning show is a three-hour celebration of the man himself featuring early material from the 50s, the ‘68 Comeback Special and the Vegas years with everyone’s favourite Elvis pop, power ballads and Gospel songs.

Mandjar Art Awards
- When: Friday, March 1 – Sunday, March 31
- Where: Mandurah Performing Arts Centre
Established in 2004, the Mandjar Art Awards elevate arts and culture in the region and showcase the talent of the Mandurah community.
This year’s artworks will be on display in March.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Legends of the 50’s and 60’s
- When: Saturday, March 2
- Where: Mandurah Performing Arts Centre
The internationally renowned Williams Brothers celebrate all the classic hits of the Everly Brothers and rock ‘n’ roll legends of the 1950’s and 60’s.
In Australia for the first time, the vocal duo supported by their award-winning band The Shy Guys will cover hits from Don and Phil Everly including ‘All I Have To Do Is Dream’, ‘Bird Dog’ and ‘Let It Be Me’.
They will also present songs from legends Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny O’Keefe, The Bee Gees, The Eagles and The Beatles.

Gypsy Jazz Festival
- When: Saturday, March 2 – Sunday, March 3
- Where: Drakesbrook Fine Wines, Waroona
This two-day music festival is being dubbed the “event of the year”, this gypsy themed village will include pop-up markets, stalls, food, drinks and plenty of entertainment.
Featuring music from internationally renowned artists like Hank Marvin Gypsy Jazz, Nunzio Mondia, Gary Taylor and the Robin Nolan Trio, the acts will play in the evening by the lake with an unrivaled view.

Snow White on stage
- When: Friday, March 8 – Sunday, March 10
- Where: Mandurah Performing Arts Centre
Presented by Primadonna Productions, this pantomime follows the story of the wicked Queen, the Magic Mirror on the wall, a bewitched huntsman ordered to kill Snow White, friendly animals, a poisoned apple and a kiss from a passing Prince.
Snow White will play at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on March 8 and 9, 2019 at 7.30pm. There will also be matinee performances on March 9 and 10 at 2pm.

Mandurah Crab Fest
- When: Saturday, March 16 – Sunday, March 17
- Where: Eastern foreshore
Mandurah’s signature event, the Crab Fest, is back for its 21st year in 2019.
The two day free event – the biggest in regional WA – will showcase the best food and entertainment available in the Peel region.
More than 100 hours of free entertainment is planned, including local and international acts across four stages, celebrities, unique food experiences, live music and a spectacular fireworks display.
The ABBA Show
- When: Saturday, March 23
- Where: Mandurah Performing Arts Centre
Prepare your singing voices for two hours of live musical performances from the ABBA show.
With a live backing band, replica costumes, theatrical lighting and effects and all the dancing even the biggest ABBA fan could handle, this show is not just another cover band but a full-scale production.
Relive the ABBA concert experience and celebrate the band’s greatest hit with this internationally-acclaimed show for fans of all ages.

We Will Rock You
- When: Wednesday, March 27 – Saturday, March 30
- Where: Mandurah Performing Arts Centre
With an outstanding local cast of amazing musicians, singers and dancers, We Will Rock You brings a global show to the Mandurah stage to experience the music of the world’s greatest rock band.
The awe-inspiring production is based on the songs of Queen with a book by Ben Elton and has attracted over 16 million theatre goers from 28 countries since it began in 2002.
The show reflects the scale and spectacle of Queen’s live performances, with more than 24 hit songs including ‘We Are The Champions’, ‘Radio Ga Ga’, ‘Somebody to Love’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘Killer Queen’ and ‘I Want to Break Free’.
