The Primadonna Productions company are preparing for a busy summer of theatre, with two impressive productions to kick start the year in February and March.
The youth troupe are already well into rehearsals for their first upcoming show, Spamalot.
The lively production will be a family friendly version abbreviated from the show that took Broadway and the West End by storm more than a decade ago.
From the original screenplay by Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam, the musical is being described as “lovingly ripped off from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail”.
The performance will feature everyone’s favourite characters including King Arthur (played by Steven Jones), Patsy (played by Jessica Prosser) and the Knights of Ni.
Sing along to the classic, iconic tunes including ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’ and ‘Song That Goes Like This’.

Primadonna Productions is also busy preparing for their performance of Snow White in March, 2019.
The pantomime closely follows the story of the wicked Queen, the Magic Mirror on the wall, a bewitched huntsman ordered to kill Snow White, friendly animals, a poisoned apple a cottage in the woods full of gnomes (yes, you heard right – not dwarfs) and finally a kiss from a passing Prince.
Add to this Dame Murgatroyd, her son, Wot, with Lester the Jester and some kindly forest animals, and you know it is going to be an entertaining show.
Spamalot will play at the Pinjarra Civic Centre on February 15 and 16 at 7.30pm.
There will also be a matinee performance on February 16 at 2pm.
Tickets for the show are on sale from Music Force in Greenfields for $10, cash only.
Seating is not tiered so Primadonna Productions advise patrons to book ahead rather than buy at the door for the best seats.
Snow White will play at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on March 8 and 9, 2019 at 7.30pm.
There will also be matinee performances on March 9 and 10 at 2pm.
