Hot favourite Bletchley Park trotted its way to a piece of history when the American Ideal colt took out a win in the Pinjarra Paceway 50th Anniversary Cup on Monday afternoon.
In what was a historic day marking the Paceway’s half-century milestone, Bletchley Park was able to finish strong grabbing the lead down the straight and storming home to edge out Bettor Finish and Dredlock Rockstar.
Driver Mark Reed was able to guide the $1.70 fancy to the handsome win.
The day was a special one for the Paceway, marking 50 years since its grand opening on December 11, 1968.
Noel Eddy drove the first ever winner on the track at that opening event.
