Throwback Thursday – 10 years ago in the Mandurah Mail | Photos, December 4, 2008

There was plenty making news in the Mandurah Mail 10 years ago this week.

Sneaky Sound System were gearing up to headline the Rollercoaster festival and Cafe Pronto and Seashells Resort won gold at the Western Australian Tourism Awards.

Crime prevention program Eyes on the Street was launched in Mandurah and the Halls Head Dome opened its doors overlooking Doddies Beach.

In sport, Lake Clifton boxer Brett Mather celebrated a Golden Gloves win and Peel Thunder small forward Hayden Ballantyne was picked up by the Fremantle Dockers in the AFL national draft.
