Organisers of annual the Murray to Mandurah Charity Ride are expecting nearly 700 motorcycles at this year’s event on Saturday.
Each year during the festive season volunteers from Mandurah Murray Ulysses Group prepare and distribute hampers to less-fortunate children.
In 2017, the event raised a total of $9,000 and distributed 65 food parcels to local families.
In its 27th year, the ride is a well-loved tradition and a highlight on many local residents’ festive season calendars.
The event will commence at Sir Ross McLarty Oval in Pinjarra and end at Halls Park on Mandurah’s western foreshore.
Cost of registration is $5 per person, which includes one free entry into the door prize.
There will be stalls, a sausage sizzle and entertainment available on the day.
