In the spirit of supporting local, a collective of Peel Region based artists, makers and creators have banded together to host a unique shopping experience.
Tiny Shops on Wheels will be a market place where people in the region will be able to buy something that is truly unique and is locally handmade.
The work is diverse and has a definite local flavour inspired by our beautiful Peel region. It’s a fun and funky way to shop.

The event will boast free Christmas inspired children’s activities, music, coffee, workshops and a range of other activities.
Organisers of the event claim supporting local business rather than large conglomerates would be good new for Mandurah, as “the profits stay here and are spent here”.
“We invite you to celebrate the Christmas retail experience with us,” organiser Karen Morgan said.
“The concept of putting individual shops on wheels is to uniquely showcase each artist’s work in a contemporary eye-catching way.
“We roll in and activate the space in pop ups, conferences and at community events.”
Tiny Shop on Wheels has been aimed at encouraging people to shop local, but also about building a sustainable business model for artists.

“As a collective there is something for everyone – our artisans showcase ‘unique locally handmade’ works in textiles, prints, paintings, jewellery, essential oils, photography, mandalas, ceramics, clothing, potted plants and a myriad of really interesting discoveries available from each Tiny Shop.
“The work is diverse and has a definite local flavour inspired by our beautiful Peel region. It’s a fun and funky way to shop, just like going to an event.
“We find that our wheels put a sparkle in people’s eye, you will be amazed by what has been fabricated into a shop.
“Gift yourself some time to discover Tiny Shops on Wheels leading up to Christmas. You will find us near the colourful tree outside Make Place.”
