A 25-year-old Mandurah man has been found guilty of stealing a number of electronic items from The Good Guys and JB Hi-Fi after a three-day jury trial.
James Edward Lankester was found not guilty of three armed robbery charges and guilty of three robbery charges when he appeared in the Supreme Court on November 9.
The robberies occurred in Greenfields on March 27 and 30, 2017.
Supreme Court Justice Gail Archer ordered a pre-sentence report and remanded Lankester to reappear on December 6, 2018, for sentencing.
At the time, Mandurah Detectives told the Mail a man had entered The Good Guys about midday on March 27 and stole numerous electrical items by hiding them in a carry bag.
About an hour later, the same man entered neighbouring store JB Hi-Fi and stole a number of electronic items before leaving the store.

Three days later, the man went into the same JB Hi-Fi store and tried to steal a home security system before staff recognised him, locked the gate and called police.
Detectives had released CCTV footage to help identify the man.
