After a well-received family event in 2017, Lakelands Shopping Centre will host another Christmas celebration.
In an evening not to be missed, Lakelands Shopping Centre will kick off the most festive month of the year with their Carols by Candlelight event.
On December 1, the whole community is invited to the Lakelands Town Square to celebrate Christmas and join in on the free, family-friendly fun.
The centre’s regional marketing manager Amanda Clarke said her team was excited to bring the event to the Lakelands community next month.
“It’s going to be a great night with loads of free entertainment. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of the familiar faces that help to make Lakelands such an amazing place to live,” she said.
As well as live Christmas carols from an array of different local choirs and musical groups, attendees can enjoy food trucks, twilight handmade market stalls and Christmas crafts, as well as the decoration of the Lakelands Christmas Tree, with ornaments kindly donated by the Lattitude Lakelands Hobby Shed.
“It’s also a great way to show your support for the local community,” Ms Clarke said.
“You can purchase a flicker candle on the night for a gold coin donation, and all funds raised will be donated to the Lakelands Primary School P&C.”
Kids can enjoy festive face painting and Christmas mini golf, as well as a visit from the big man in red.
Santa will be on site to celebrate before heading back to the North Pole to prepare for Christmas Eve.
Guests are invited to bring along picnic blankets and chairs to join in on a night filled with carols and Christmas cheer.
