The Peel Chamber of Commerce and Industry are gearing up to serve the local business community a taste of innovation, opportunity and development during their highly-anticipated Future Proof 18 conference.
The business conference will draw hundreds of guests from across the region and South West to the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre for a full day of informative speeches, panel discussions and networking opportunities.
Among the well-known business leaders speaking at the event will be iconic Australian television and film star, Magda Szubanski.
Peel chamber projects officer Emma Barrington said there was plenty for guests to look forward to.
“Our big draw-card is Magda Szubanski but the other six speakers are also just as awesome,” she said.
Local business man Greg Boase will discuss why it’s important to build rapport with customers or clients in his presentation on profitable relationships.
A panel discussing the future of industries in the region will allow the audience to interact with the four locally selected panel members.
Attendees are in for a treat when Stan Gallo covers the topic of cyber security, with plans to perform a live hack on stage to illustrate how easy it can be.
Ms Barrington said there would be a lot of business development and learning opportunities entwined in the event.
“While it’s called a business conference it’s not specifically for people who own businesses. Staff, management or even just a person who wants to try a start-up,” she said.
It also provides a great networking opportunity for those people.”
