Three Peel Thunderbirds football stars have been drafted to feature in the ALFW next year.
At the much-anticipated draft in Melbourne on Tuesday, local players Sabreena Duffy, Kate Bartlett and Ebony Dowson were all signed up by national clubs.
Duffy and Dowson were selected at picks 17 and 64 respectively by the Fremantle Dockers.
Bartlett will head east to join the Western Bulldogs after being selected as number 26 pick.

WA Football Commission chief executive Gavin Taylor said the result highlighted the continued growth and development of female football talent in Western Australia.
“This is a fantastic achievement for these players and a great reward for all of their hard work and commitment,” he said.
“To see another 10 WA players added to AFLW lists after more than 50 have been selected in the first two years of the competition really demonstrates the depth and quality of female football talent in WA.”
