The start of the Peel Districts Cycling Club’s summer season kicked of with a 16 kilometre time trial at Hopeland on Sunday.
The conditions were challenging with showers and a blustery crosswind, which caused problems for some riders.
It was good to see a few new faces on the start line.
Colin Rose who won last year’s fastest rider over the series, was in Victoria racing in the National Masters Road Championships, finishing third in the time trial.
