Pinjarra police have taken a 16-year-old girl taken into custody after more than $2000 was stolen from a parked truck.
Pinjarra Police officer in charge Ian Francis alleged the girl received stolen cash from two teenage boys who committed the theft about 10.30am, on Friday.
Senior Sergeant Francis said the boys forced open the locked truck which was parked outside the Pinjarra Recreation Centre.
Police collected CCTV footage from surrounding homes.
Senior Sergeant Francis said the teenagers were known to police and inquiries were continuing.
