The 88th Waroona Show is almost upon us.
This year’s show will take place on October 6.
A committee of volunteers works tirelessly year-round to ensure the show’s success.

The largest event in the shire, the Waroona Show is the single biggest fundraising event in the year for local community organisations. Its reputation as a fun and affordable day out draws thousands of visitors from near and far.
ADMISSION
Gates open to the general public at 8am and close at 9pm. Tickets are priced at $16 for adults, $10 for aged pensioners (pension card required) and $10 for children aged 5-16. Entry is free for children aged under 5. Visitors are reminded no dogs are allowed on the showgrounds and no alcohol is to be brought onto the grounds.
PARKING
Limited parking is available around the perimeter of the showgrounds. A free shuttle bus will operate from the Waroona Recreation Centre to the Showgrounds in 10-15 minute intervals from 10am to 6pm.
The Australind train service arrives at Waroona Railway Station 11.00am and departs 5.40pm.
AGRICULTURE
What would an agricultural show be without displays of farm machinery and working sheep dogs? Visitors can view both at the Waroona Show, along with plenty of cattle, poultry and horse displays.
WOOD CHOPPING
Strength, skill and stamina will be on display at Waroona Show’s Log Chop program, run in conjunction with the Central Districts Axemen's Association.
FARRIERS
Visit the John Marchetti shed to see a horse being shod and shoes being made on forges. The West Australian Farriers Finals are conducted annually at the Waroona Show.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
Many of Waroona Show’s attractions are especially for the kids. Older children are sure to enjoy sideshow alley, while parents with smaller children can head to Funland, which features a mini sideshow alley and other activities perfect for the little ones. along with a relaxing area for parents while the children are entertained. The Waroona Lions Animal Nursery is at the northern end of the showgrounds next to Gate 3.
FIREWORKS
Sponsored by the Rhonda Wyllie Foundation, the Bill Wyllie Fireworks are always a huge hit at the Waroona Show and always literally go off with a bang, blasting into the night sky from 8.30pm.
