Mandurah could well have a new millionaire, with a winning lotto ticket from Wednesday night’s draw sold at a local newsagency.
As yet unclaimed, a $1 million prize awaits a lucky punter that bought their ticket from Mandurah Greenfields Newsagency.
It is the second winning ticket the Mandurah store has sold in quick succession, with a $2 million windfall claimed back in June.
Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said it was an incredible run of lotto luck for Mandurah and WA at large.
“We’re certainly a lucky state when it comes to lotto,” she said.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming the state’s newest millionaire into the Lotterywest Winners Room.”
With another winning ticket also sold in Albany this week, Western Australia’s Division One tally for the year has now reached 39.
These winners have shared in prizes worth almost $91 million.
