The team at Headspace Mandurah would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to the readers of the Mandurah Mail and the community of Mandurah.
Headspace is Australia’s national youth mental health foundation. We provide early intervention mental health services for people aged between 12-25, and assist young people to improve their well-being.
This covers four core areas: mental health, physical health, work and study support, and alcohol and other drugs. All of our services are completely free and confidential, and we are now operating in Mandurah.
This week we are excited to be celebrating our three-month anniversary as a centre. We are temporarily located at unit 10, 3 Dower Street Mandurah. In early December we will move to the new Peel Health Hub near the train station, and this will be our permanent home.
From now on we will be contributing a monthly column here in the Mandurah Mail – a platform we hope to use to provide useful information and resources to the community, as well as tips for keeping a healthy Headspace and improving mental health.

There will be live music, an open yoga class, origami lessons, face painting and lots of colour. You can find us there between the hours of 3pm and 7pm, and we will be located between H&M and the food court.
