Mandurah MP David Templeman has called for residents to nominate a deserving local senior or age-friendly business in the 2018 WA Seniors Awards.

The annual awards recognise the contribution of outstanding seniors in our community and acknowledge businesses that support older Western Australians.

Nomination categories in this year’s awards include Senior of the Year Award, Age Friendly Local Government Award and Age Friendly Business Award

“We are so fortunate that in Mandurah we have so many outstanding seniors who make an invaluable contribution to our community and to community life,” Mr Templeman said.

“There are many outstanding seniors in our City who make a real difference to the lives of others.

“Now is our chance to show our appreciation and nominate them to be formally recognised in the 2018 WA Seniors Awards.

“Businesses and local governments who go above and beyond to cater to the older members in our community also deserve to be acknowledged for their achievements.”

Nominations are open until October 11. Visit www.cotawa.org.au.
