The Peel Football and Netball League’s netball season wrapped up for another year with Waroona claiming a second consecutive premiership in the top division over the weekend, in what was easily the league’s biggest season yet.

All eight PFNL clubs fielded teams in each three grades (league, reserves, open) for the first time with netballers hitting the courts for 14 rounds of regular season action and three weeks of finals.
Rockingham went undefeated across the home-and-away season in the reserves before dropping their first final to Waroona and eventually bouncing back to claim the premiership.
In the open, Halls Head was the dominant side across the year and managed to fend off South Mandurah in the grand final to take home the silverware.
