Wet and wild weather caused carnage when it hit Mandurah on Thursday morning, with winds even managing to detach a patio roof in Wannanup.
Queen Street residents Deeny and Wally Halliday received a shock when they came home to find their back patio in their front yard.
Parts of the patio was also in the neighbours side yard.
The couple had only been living in the house for eight week but said they used to enjoy sit under the structure.
Mandurah State Emergency Services (SES) crews were at the scene helping the duo.
SES members gathered all the loss material from the incident and used sandbags to secure the items.
People in need of SES assistance are urged to call 132 500.
