Mandurah girl Bonnie Richardson was recently presented with a finalist award at the Western Australian Young Achiever Awards for her environmental work in the Peel region.
Every year, the 27-year-old runs a sustainable living workshop at Mandurah’s Stretch Festival.
Ms Richardson also educated over 700 students at the Perth and Peel Regional Teaching Conference.
The young achiever has been recognised for her efforts in the past, winning the Keep Australia Beautiful Highly Commended award, for her a household electricity reduction scheme.
Ms Richardson was presented the Environment and Sustainability finalist award at the event on May 26.
