Local have been invited to attend an open week at the Mandurah Seniors and Community Centre between May 21-25.
The open week will allow people of all ages to experience the activities and services on offer at the centre.
Established groups and clubs at the centre will also be introduced to attendees.
Mandurah has one of the highest proportion of people aged 65 and over in Western Australia, which sits at a whopping 22.7 per cent compared with the state average of 14 per cent.

Mandurah’s statistics are only surpassed by a few councils with much smaller populations, including Denmark at 25 per cent, Gin Gin at 23.2 per cent and Dandaragan at 23.1 per cent.
Organisers hope the open day will showcase the various opportunities available for seniors to get involved in the local community.
The centre has about 2000 annual memberships and last year saw 95,000 visits.
