Australian pop sensation Shannon Noll is excited for his upcoming show at the Ravenswood Hotel, where he will play old hits, and new songs off his Unbroken album.
Noll will be headed back to the Ravo on Friday, June 1, after a year-long break from his last gig at the hotel in June, 2017.
The runner-up Australian Idol winner said the tracks on Unbroken were inspired by events transpiring over seven years of his life, showcasing the ups and downs.
“I haven’t had an album out for seven years, so I’m really looking forward to playing the songs I’ve been working on for so long,” he said.

“Usually people make an album within a year,” he said.
“But this one will be over a longer period of time, showing different stages of my life.”
The country boy said he was looking forward to playing in the region, and said he always tried to make the effort when he was in Western Australia.
“I have great support there,” he said.
“I can’t wait to play there and I’m really enjoying touring at the moment, so it’s great. I put everything down to the generosity of my fans.”

Noll reflected on the tongue-in-cheek comments he receives on his Facebook page, that have become an Australian internet sensation.
The humorous comments from his fans all have a similar structure.
The fan claims to be good friends with Noll and ask him to return an item they supposedly lent him, in exaggerated Australian slang.
Noll said the comments started slowly, and then “snowballed”.
“Now everyone's trying to get the most likes,” he said.
“I posted a five dollar note and that spawned the whole lending thing I think,” he said.
Noll said he knew people who “posted comments for a laugh”.
“It’s great and very funny,” he said.
“A few guys I know get on there for a bit of a giggle. It’s not done with malice.
“I think it’s terrific.”
Noll said he read the comments occasionally and had thought about responding to some of them.
“But you know...not saying anything is part of the mystique,” he said. “I let them go.”
