“Navana is humble about the work she has done which includes raising money for Beyond Blue through her talent in music and performing at fundraisers such as Relay for Life.”
Ms Brewer said the student was also responsible for organising the musical event ‘Young Guns’ that aimed to boost confidence and create opportunities for young people in the music industry.
Navana successfully received funding from the City of Mandurah that allowed her to use the Old Mandurah Museum for events.
Ms Brewer said Navana had embraced opportunities at school that included gaining an internship with Mercy Place Aged Care Facility and participating in a volunteer program called ‘People Who Care’.
