Mr Templeman kept an adoring crowd spellbound with his wonderful speech, mentioning that the opening of the new Vivid Gallery was a positive step towards promoting the local arts and artists and the revitalisation of the City’s Centre.
He said that the artists should be commended not only for their beautiful artworks but also for their courage to initiate the new venture in the art and business world.
The opening was well attended including many representatives from the City of Mandurah, Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, Local Businesses and local Artists.
Unfortunately Ms Catherine wasn’t able to attend the opening as she was on her honeymoon.
Vivid Art Collective Artists thanked Mr Templeman for taking time out of his busy schedule to open the gallery and also expressed their appreciation of the friends and family members, City of Mandurah, the artists, community members, volunteers and sponsors who have donated their time, resources and materials, and continue to support and encourage the artists.
Vivid Gallery will open a new exhibition approximately every six to eight weeks and will soon be introducing guest artists and be hosting arts events and workshops.
The exhibition ‘Uplifting’ Art Bra for a Cause – for breast cancer awareness – will be hosted by VividGallery from December 1-3.
The current exhibition will run until December 22 from 10am to 4pm daily.
