The day includes a morning round out on the course’s fairways followed by a luncheon.
A number of prestigious memorabilia items were auctioned off to boost the fundraising efforts, including a signed Peel Thunder jersey, wines and artworks.
Sports celebrities Shelley Taylor-Smith, Richard Aggiss, Drew Petrie and Lyndsay Stephen were all in attendance for the function.
The final total won’t be counted until the weekend, but the golf course aimed to raise more than $40,000 for the local support service.
That would surpass their record 2016 total, which saw them hand over more than $38,000 to Pat Thomas House.
