Applications are open to non-profit organisations for projects and events within the Shire of Murray and City of Mandurah.
Refinery manager Julio Costa said investing in the local community was a priority for Alcoa and the Pinjarra Refinery.
“Each year, we sponsor a wide range of community partnerships across Murray and Mandurah, funding local events and projects run by non-profit organisations,” Mr Costa said.
“Over the past two years, the Pinjarra Refinery has invested more than $850,000 into the local community through its partnership program.”
Mr Costa said applications were encouraged from local non-profit organisations that promoted environmental sustainability, community health and safety, tomorrow’s workforce and leaders, and community capacity and resilience.
Applications close Friday, November 24, 2017.
