The Peel region’s lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, trans-sexual and intersex (LGBTI) community came together on Saturday night to fly the rainbow flag in support of same sex marriage.
The event was organised by Pride in Peel and sponsored by Member for Mandurah David Templeman, Bendigo Bank Halls Head, Optomize and Eco Spa.
Entertainment included drag queen performances by Feminem, Ruby Jewelz and Fay Rocious.
Organiser Stephen Carter said more than 200 people attended the ‘vote yes’ party.
“It was such a successful, beautiful event filled with love – raising money for the Freedom Centre who support LGBTIQ youth,” Mr Carter wrote on Facebook.
