He’s been spotted over the past few days feasting on the lush lawns of central Mandurah, and sunning himself by the estuary.
But Mandurah’s resident kangaroo got the cops called on him Sunday morning.
Four police cars, local rangers, and wildlife rescue expert Alison Dixon did their best to corral the kanga on Randell Street this morning.
The less than impressed ‘roo bypassed their efforts, though, and hopped off to greener pastures, leaving authorities scratching their heads.
An officer said she didn’t believe the kangaroo was lost, and that she saw others regularly in the area.
“He’s not lost,” she said.
“He knows exactly what he’s doing; look at all the green grass around here – he’s loving it.”
