Mandurah's newest venue opened its doors on Wednesday night, bringing “interactive” cocktails and gourmet bar food to the local bar scene.
Bar Therapy opened for business with a low-key opening event, with tens of locals coming along to visit the newly renovated venue.
The venue is an initiative by Mandurah local Jiah Minifie, former manager of the Brighton Hotel and owner of the popular local eatery Catch-22.
Bar Therapy features room for 120 customers and a decked alfresco area overlooking the water, and promises to be a fresh addition to the city.
While preserving the character of the iconic heritage-listed building, the owners said the bar will bring a smaller, quieter and low-key environment for more mature customers.
