Mandurah’s garden enthusiasts will have an unmissable date with gardening guru Sabrina Hahn at the Mandurah Community Garden on October 8.
Ms Hahn will be visiting the garden as part of the organisation’s Garden Festival to reveal her hints and tips on what to plant in the upcoming months.
Ms Hahn is a master gardener, storyteller of note and a qualified horticulturalist with a passion for the creation of sustainable environments that bring life back into cities and rural areas.
For more than 25 years, she has shared her stories and passion for green spaces in a radio program, becoming one of the earliest pioneers to talk about sustainable gardening practices.
She also regularly writes columns for print publications.
In addition to Ms Hahn’s inspirational talk at 11.30am, attendees to the festival will also be able to enjoy live entertainment, a range of stalls, and hot food and drinks.
Ms Hahn and garden members will also be available to have a chat and answer any gardening questions from attendees.
The event is free of charge and family-friendly. Dogs on leads are also welcome.
The festival will start at 10am and run until 3pm at the Mandurah Community Gardens on Coodanup Drive, behind Coodanup College.
