The Leslie Street Centre has a wide-ranging variety of performances coming up, including a visit from one of WA’s favourite choirs.
Impressive guitarist Glen Ridgewell plays through a range of standards and classic songs well-remembered at the centre on August 16 from 1.15pm.
He’ll play a range of jazz, country and some original songs as well.
The on September 20, the Spirit of the Streets Choir brings their passion to the stage, lead by choir director Bernard Carney.
The Spirit of the Streets (SOS) Choir is a not-for-profit community organisation aimed at providing a social environment for people from all walks of life, especially those who experience social disadvantage.
The choir provides an atmosphere that takes the message of unity and social acceptance through singing to the broader community, according to the organisers.
Tickets for both shows are $6 for members and $8 for non-members.
