Mandurah Mail’s very own Marta Pascual Juanola has made the finals not once, but twice in the prestigious PANPA awards.

The current Western Australia news photographer of the year has been with the Mail for close to two years, and in that time has met – and photographed – prime ministers, charity workers, sports stars and many in the community.
Last year Pascual Juanola’s image from the fatal shark attack in Falcon was highly commended in the PANPA awards.
This year she hopes to bring home the top prizes for her portraits of Aunty Judith – an Aboriginal activist – and MMA fighter Ray Karaitiana.
