Curtain Call is a twentieth birthday celebration in song of the community participation at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre over the last two decades.
Almost sixty talented local performers past and present have been hard at work since early May polishing almost two hours worth of sparkling entertainment.
Directed and pieced together by Carole Dhu, the show features excerpts from several of the MPAC in-house show productions, as well as celebrating the involvement of many other community groups which have staged shows at the venue.
Excerpts include songs from My Fair Lady (presented by Mandurah Little Theatre in 1998) and Paint Your Wagon (an MPAC in-house show in 2003) plus a plethora of other well-known musicals.
Solo numbers peppered between the large production numbers will represent several more shows, and the programme will touch on some of the more recent productions as well.
The whole shebang will be carried over two nights, Monday and Tuesday August 7 and 8, from 7.30pm.
Tickets are selling now through manpac.com.au or on 9550 3900.
