Led by strong performances from Carly Boag and Casey Mihovilovich, the Magic were able to equal the top-of-the-table Perry Lakes with 14 wins on the season.
Mandurah kick-started their weekend with a 21-point victory over Rockingham on Friday night.
The Magic have made a trend out of hot starts this season and kept the ball rolling against the Flames as they dashed to a 14-point lead at half time.
Rockingham did their best to work into the contest, matching it with Mandurah in the third period, but an impressive end to the game led the Magic to the 81-60 win.
Boag has been prolific for the Magic this season and her form continued on Friday night as she notched a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Mihovilovich led the way in the scoring tally pouring in 22 points to go with her eight rebounds and five assists, while newly-crowned all-star MVP Nici Gilday posted 18 points.
Saturday night presented a different challenge for the Magic, who were forced to put in a monumental fourth quarter to come away with a victory against the Cougars.
Mandurah escaped out to a 10-point lead half way through the second quarter but were reeled in as Cockburn did their best to overtake.
The game was a tussle for the majority as the Magic led by just five points with five minutes left on the clock.
But some sound scoring from Gilday saw a red-hot Mandurah put on a huge run in the dying stages of the game.
Gilday scored eight points in the final three minutes of the game to help seal a 79-59 win.
She finished the night with 26 points, seven rebounds and three assists, while Boag put up a huge stat line with 18 points and a whopping 23 rebounds.
In a stunning effort, Boag collected 15 of her 23 boards on the offensive end.
The Magic remain in second place with a 14-1 record, just behind Perry Lakes who are 14-0.
