Meet Bud, one of our very special rescue dogs that needs a little more extra care as he is deaf.
He is a large, black male Labrador cross, born June 2014.
Bud has recently lost his closest companion who was another rescue dog named Bessi.
She was Buds ears and helped him understand his surroundings and people.
He now needs another dog who can also show him that everything is OK.
An older female dog would be ideal.
Bud has nice manners and is best described as a big pup: he loves to play.
Bud knows the basics of hand commands but there is room for improvement.
If you have the time for him in return he will offer a great friendship.
Bud is cautious of some men and would need to be introduced properly.
He is not suitable with younger children as he can get over excited.

K9 Rescue was established in 1990. They are always looking for volunteers, donations, foster carers or families to adopt their many dogs.
