Following on from the UN’s World Happiness Index – a chart which may effectively increase or decrease your own happiness, depending on how you feel about it – Australian dating site Elite Singles has decided to crunch those number snad come up with their own list of Australia’s happiest singles.
And Mandurah has taken out sixth place.
The original report was released on World Happiness Day, April 20. Out of 150-plus nations involved, Australia registered as the ninth happiest country in the world, beating America (14th) and Britain (19th) to make it into the top 10.
Based on anonymous data collated from 14,700 Aussie singles registered with EliteSingles, they examined how highly respondents scored themselves when asked how happy they felt.
From this they were then able to geographically pinpoint where Australia’s happiest singles reside.
So, if you’re eager to meet someone whose brow is seldom furrowed, maybe don’t look beyond your own backyard next time.
