After making over 300,000 Australians laugh on his last tour and taking a year off to star in his first feature film, Barron is set to break that record again on his new tour, which is already eclipsing all previous ticket sales.
He sold out both Mandurah shows last month, and it’s no real surprise: his down-to-earth and charming observational comedy have enamored fans across the country for more than a decade.
He is also Australia’s highest selling stand-up comedian on DVD in Australian retail history.
He now has four of the top ten highest selling DVDs in Australia – ever: Carl Barron LIVE!, Carl Barron: Whatever Comes Next, Carl Barron: Walking Down The Street, and Carl Barron: A One Ended Stick.
Barron’s unique style is based on observational humour. He was born in Longreach, Queensland, the son of a sheep shearer from the outback and worked as a roof-tiler before he moved into comedy and became a national icon.
Since winning Comic of the Year and Best Up and Coming Talent, Barron has established himself as one of the most accomplished comedy performers in Australia and around the world. He has headlined at every major comedy venue and Festival worldwide and has millions of fans worldwide.
Be there for a night where Carl blends structure with chance, or as he likes to call it – drinking with a fork.
Tickets for the show are available at manpac.com.au or through the Box Office on 9550 3900.
