While the field is yet to be released, the $50,000 prize pool and prestige of the cup is set to attract many to WA’s high-profile pacing personalities.
“It’s a huge day for the club. Our biggest meet for the year,” Pinjarra Paceway marketing and administration coordinator Kathleen Howse said.
“There’s plenty of quality in the field and a lot for families to enjoy as well.”
The Paceway will operate three bars, a restaurant and a number of children’s activities.
A crowd of approximately 5000 is expected to attend the afternoon meeting, with gates opening at 10.30am.
