Four years after their last Christmas party, residents in North Pinjarra came together again on December 10 to get into the festive spirit and celebrate Christmas at the North Pinjarra Community Hall.
Excited local children saw Santa arrive in his red fire and rescue truck handing out lollies, before parking at the Community Hall and giving away more than 90 Christmas presents.
After meeting Santa and unwrapping their presents, the local children enjoyed an afternoon of fun at the bouncy castle, petting zoo and art and craft stations.
The event also included a community barbecue by the North Pinjarra Progress Association, and entertainment for all ages.
“It was a pleasure to see all the children, parents and grandparents enjoying the free events and entertainment,” North Pinjarra Progress Association president Brad Cardilini said.
“This year’s event was a wonderful success and all families had a great time.
“Next year we hope to build on the success and deliver a bigger and better Christmas family event on the community.”
The event, which catered for people of all ages, included a community barbecue as well as free entertainment for all families.
