The Department of Parks and Wildlife issued the warning on Friday morning.
They urged people to avoid the area, follow the advice of Parks and Wildlife staff, and check the area’s signage.
Those who are already in the area are advised to leave for a safer place.
The department said an update would be provided if the situation changed or the site re-opened.
"When the weather is going to be as hot as it is tomorrow, and with resources tied up in other places, we'll close off the park to be safe," a Department of Parks and Wildlife spokesperson said.
"It's to ensure the safety of visitors."
