Fresh off the back of their first West Australian Football League premiership, the club honoured both present and past legends for their contribution.
The team, announced by AFL legend Kevin Sheedy who MC’d the night, featured a string of players who have gone on to play at the AFL level, including Ben Howlett (Essendon) and Hayden Ballantyne (Fremantle).
Prominent WAFL players who made their mark on the Thunder like Rory O’Brien and Brendon Jones were also recognised with selection to the team.
Premiership-winning coach Cam Shepherd was named the club’s all-star coach.
All members of the side were presented with framed commemorative jerseys.
The night also included guest speeches from AFL and former Peel players Daniel Wells and Farren Ray.
