Mikayla Blake and Riley and Peyton Downs all received medals for perseverance on the home front.
Mikayla’s medal was presented to her in recognition of having to endure her father’s operational deployment in 2015.
Riley and Peyton both received the same medal, and were also presented with the MEAO medallion.
The MEAO medallion covers all locations and deployments to the Middle East area of operations or the Middle East region.
At the time of the presentation their father was deployed to the Middle East.
The medals were presented by Pinjarra RSL sub-branch president Mick O’Donnell.
