“Don’t blame the weatherman” might be the operable term here.
Last week, we reported a forecast of heavy rain throughout the weekend, extending into this week.
But what did we receive instead? Well, maybe a little rain, but not too much to write home about.
Instead, the week up until now has been glorious spring sunshine, throwing our report on its head.
But this week we will continue the theme, with further unseasonably cold and rainy weather on the way for Mandurah over the next week.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast more than 10mm of rain for Mandurah today, with an approaching cold front set to bring more showers into the weekend.
An approaching cold front which will hit the coast on Sunday morning may bring more showers going into next week.
And if it ends up a sunny weekend, well, you can thank us for forecasting the alternative.
